Yesterday I had a lot of fun :) A really underserving kind of fun. Went out with the class to Marina Barrage for a class outing. I believe that it was the best one I've ever been to yet. Many more awesome ones to come amen. There was just so much joy and happiness around that it was impossible to be sad or unhappy. Really thank God for such moments. It felt so good to see your class being bonded and to know that you are part of that class. Just so blessed to have people being so kind to me when I know I really don't deserve this kindness. :') I thought the day couldn't get any better until I stepped into the House of God. Wow, it was just amazing. The whole auditorium was filled with the love and the presence of Him. One thing I caught from the sermon Pastor Benjamin preached was that I don't have to be jealous about the gifts of others. In Romans 12:4-6, it says: 4  For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not ha...

The apple of His eye.

Hi, I've decided to blog about the Chinese orals. :P Actually it was really horrible for me, like ten times over. So much for self-righteousness haha, almost thought that maybe I was good enough for Chinese man. Turns out I was terribly mistaken. Like what Pastor Prince shared today, sometimes God allows obstacles to come into our life to bring us to the end of ourselves. Wow, it really happened to me man. Totally realised that I am such a failure at Chinese. The picture was so hard, I don't know what to say for conversation. It was practically the worst oral of my life. I felt so much disappointment, sadness and all the bad feelings. Of all orals, I screwed up my A level one. What in the world! And I started blaming God, why didn't He just speak through me? Wasn't He there with me too? It was just so painful. It felt like a rock crashed on me and I didn't even knew that the rock came crashing in the first place. Unexpected is the word. It made me fee...

Legacy 2013.

Helloooooo! Back from Legacy camp! Woah awesome anointing and really what I needed for this season in my life. Before coming to the camp, there were a lot of problems that I have been facing: in my studies, relationships and myself. There was just so much going on, my whole head was in a whirl and I think this is the worst experience I've ever experience. I felt super messed up and felt that this was the worst stage of my life. It was just so bad and I came to this camp more broken than ever before. Just so conscious of myself and all the problems that I have. I almost wanted to lose hope that Jesus can use this camp to change my life. But His hope never disappoints. There were many God moments and I felt very loved by the Father. So many good and funny things happened. And I love the fact that I got closer to the CG and new kingdom friendships were being formed. Hmm, let me just share with you some highlights of the camp. On the first/second day (I can't remember)...

Jesus.

Hey, it has been a very long time since I last posted right? Did you miss me? :) Hm, anyways, I will just tell you about my life currently right now. These days have been really busy for me and I've been cooped up with work. Studying almost every single day... And sometimes, this fear of not being able to study finish before the Mid Year's creeps into my heart. Godincentally, Elena shared this powerful verse today and set me free from this huge fear. Philippians 4:6-7 The Message (MSG) 6-7  Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. The part highlighted was just so so so powerful. What I was doing all along was incessantly worrying and putting that in the center of my li...

14 May 2013.

Sup! Just wanted to share about the awesome things that happened this week! HAHA, it's actually about my birthday. I'm seriously touched by what my class did for me, buying me presents and celebrating my birthday. I want to thank God for such an awesome class, which totally exceeded my expectations. In actual fact, I didn't expect much since it's a brand new class and it's only the first year I'm being w them. God is just sooo good. I received so much favour with them compared to my AG. I really saw the hand of God and how He made things work out for my good. In the start of the year, I trusted God for a good class and He did give me one, with so much more. I totally didn't deserve all this but God just wanted to bless me w one :') And I made very good friends in the new class, in the new season I am in. It really has been the best year yet and my future keeps getting brighter and brighter. Even though the year has been hectic and I have been...

God moments.

Hello! :) It's been quite a long time! Sorry man, had to catch up with school work and have hardly any free time to blog :/ Did you miss me? Haha! So I had so so so many things I wanna share that have happened to me in the past few days and weeks. Hmm, how should I start? Chronologically? Sure. Physics Kinematics Test This was just purely grace man. I had absolutely no clue how to do the questions, randomly attempted and just prayed in tongues while doing the paper. God was just soooooo good! He gave me good grades for this test and I really can't thank Him enough. I hardly even had the time to study for this test and only looked through the notes the day before for around 1-2 hours? I knew this cannot be me. All glory to Jesus! NAPFA The 2.4km run was really a super touching gift from Daddy God. I've always ran about 16mins since Sec 3? And I have no idea how to improve my stamina. Okay, maybe actually I do, but I'm just too lazy to train/workout. On ...

The King still has one more move.

Image
Hello! I just felt like blogging about what Pastor Ray McCauley preached during the mid-week service :D     Soooo one part of his sermon was "The King still has one more move". There was this famous painting, titled: Checkmate The green guy on the left represents the devil who seems to give a grin of victory whereas, the man on the right, representing us humans, look forlorn and worried. An international chess champion thought there was something wrong with this painting as it couldn't possibly be a checkmate; the King piece still can make one more move. When Pastor shared the story behind this painting, it was like woahhhh, a huge revelation. There was actually nothing wrong with the painting. The painter intentionally painted it this way to show that when you think you are being "checkmate", it is a lie from the devil. It seems like the devil has won but the King, Jesus still has one more move to make. This really spoke to me because befor...
